Great success in Druze and Circassian villages
Great success to the spring and summer tours in Druze and Circassian villages
The Authority for the Development of Galilee launched during May the project “Have you visited?” The project is a guided free tour program in the charming places in the Druze and Circassian villages in Galilee and Carmel. The program that will continue until the end of July, caused great interest and has been up until now an impressive success.
Hundreds of tourists took part in the program led by the Authority for the Development of Galilee and expressed their satisfaction from the organization, the professional guidance and the interesting content they have been exposed to during the tour.
The tours are guided by professional guides, people that live in the place and know all the charming spots in the village, known and hidden. The visitors were exposed through them the charm in the villages, the special people in each village, the authentic food of each community, the sites, the charming places and the colors. The tours enable a peek into the rich cultures, the customs and the characteristics of the Druze and Circassians in Israel and they ensure to enrich your knowledge and your taste.
Until now, hundreds of people came to the tours in the villages: Julis, Januch- Gat and Dalit el- Carmel and were a great success. Dr. Hanan Schwartz from Bar Ilan University that participated in the tour in Dalit el- Carmel guided by NuzhatAwad claimed: “The tour I participated in on Saturday was very successful, the guide was very interesting and we were exposed to rich and fascinating knowledge. I warmly recommend to everyone to find time to come to tour the village.”
The tour program is receiving great interest and great responses from the participants, that get to know a side that wasn’t exposed to them until now in the villages; a fascinating encounter in a unique atmosphere.
The tours take place every weekend during May- June. Every week in a different village. The tour is about 3 hours long.
How much does it cost? Nothing! The tours are for free and should be coordinated in advance. The tour is in small groups. Hasten to ensure a place!
Gathering at 10:00. End of tour at 13:00.
